Rabbit's Foot Fern - Davallia fejeensis
Davallia fejeensis is a miniature variety of the popular Rabbit’s Foot Fern. This versatile fern can be planted terrestrially and epiphytically, making it a handy addition to any terrarium. It gets its “Rabbit’s Foot” common name because of its unique white, fuzzy rhizomes that spill out onto the surface of the substrate. They’re even considered good luck! Native to Fiji, the Rabbit’s Foot Fern has become a very popular houseplant with its larger Davallia tyermanii variety, but D. fejeensis continues to be the better choice for most terrariums.
